Attaching guitar strings

Since I didn't really have a clue how to attach guitar strings, I looked it up and found this site: http://www.fretnotguitarrepair.com/stringing.htm

According to the site:
"When customers come to me complaining of tuning problems, improperly wound strings are the number one culprit. If the string is not properly wound around the tuners post it will slip, when you loose tension you loose tuning."

I always had to tune my guitar quite often, but maybe that was because the strings were old (2 years now) or because it sometimes took months before I played again. We'll see if it works.
